Eggs are the perfect food. They are full of different types of vitamins and minerals, they contain amino acids, fat, and proteins. So, they are a perfect meal either if someone is making breakfast or dinner. But, do you know how to cook eggs properly? If you don’t know, you should definitely continue reading because we don’t want you to get salmonella.

First of all, scientists have tested eggs from different countries all around the globe and they came up with the conclusion that you should avoid all those cartons which have P-1065, 011 and 102 numbers printed on it. These eggs are not as safe for eating as they should be. It means that they haven’t gone through the right control, but still, they are sold. How is that possible? These numbers classify eggs by their quality. So, avoid these numbers.

Okay, let’s start cooking! Be sure that you cook the eggs more than 5 minutes. We know, we all like that good runny yolk, but if you care about your health, you will need to change that habit. All those eggs which are not cooked for at least 4 minutes may contain salmonella.

Besides this advice, I would like to tell you some more facts which can help you to keep yourself safe and healthy. It would be highly recommended to buy pasteurized eggs. The same rule can be applied to all egg products. Buy pasteurized eggs always when you have that choice. Of course, you should keep them refrigerated all the time, but I think that you know that.

Check the eggs you have at home from time to time. Be sure to discard all the dirty ones and those that are cracked in any way.

Have you ever eaten some food that contained eggs that were at the room temperature more than 2 hours? You will need to change that habit if you practice it. Washing your hands and your cooking tools is also very recommended, but I think that you know that too. Anyways, it is good to mention such things because people often forget about them. Of course, you should wash everything that had a contact with raw eggs. Why would you risk?

You can also get salmonella if you eat somewhere and don’t know how reliable that place is. Summer is the worst when it comes to salmonella. Be cautious where you buy that yummy ice-cream.

That would be it, follow our advice and escape salmonella!

I once made the mistake of serving uncooked eggs to my in-laws and it was a total disaster. Here’s to never letting it happen again and making sure that I do it as right as this mentions.

These foods are generally good no matter what you do so it shouldn’t really matter how you cook it. In fact, some of these things are better raw.

I am always extra careful cooking because of this, but sometimes you are just so rushed to hurry you have no choice.

In Europe people leave their eggs out of the fridge bc they’re not bleached there and safer!
