In the first few months of the year, there have been album releases from a variety of immensely popular artists spanning different genres, and the month of March is hopefully going to be another great month for album releases. 1. Rex Orange County: Who Cares?

(March 11, Sony)

23-year-old singer-songwriter Alexander James O’Connor, best known as Rex Orange County, released his fourth studio album on March 11. Rex Orange County’s characteristic upbeat indie-pop has become a staple of the genre over the last few years since his feature on Tyler the Creator’s album Flower Boy.

2. Maren Morris: Humble Quest

(March 25, Columbia Nashville)

Maren Morris has received a slew of awards since her debut in 2016, so country music fans are excited for her new album coming on March 25th. Maren has recently begun a US tour in anticipation of the new album, Humble Quest

3. Michael Bublé: Higher

(March 25, Reprise Records)

Michael Bublé will be releasing his 11th album on March 25th. The Canadian singer has had a phenomenally successful career since his start over 20 years ago. Bublé has an amazing ability to take swing and jazz standards and make them appealing to the modern listener. He will be performing across Las Vegas in April and May and touring the U.K. in July.

4. Ella Henderson: Everything I Didn’t Say

(March 11, Atlantic Records)

Ella Henderson, an English singer-songwriter and former contestant on The X Factor, released her second studio album on March 11th. Henderson’s first album, Chapter One, landed her a chart-topping song as well as two top 20s. Henderson will be going on a very short eight-show tour in October of this year to celebrate the release of the album. These shows will be her first headline tour in seven years.

5. Franz Ferdinand: Hits to the Head

(March 11, Domino)

Alt-rock band Franz Ferdinand released their album Hits to the Head on March 11th as well. The album is a compilation of some of the band’s greatest hits since their formation in 2002, including their signature track “Take Me Out,” the second song they released as a band. The album also includes a few new songs, including their single “Curious,” which was released recently. The band is on a European tour through the rest of this year.

6. Fivio Foreign: B.I.B.L.E

(March 25, Columbia)

Fivio Foreign, birth name Maxie Lee Ryles III, will be releasing his anticipated debut album on March 25th. Ryles rose to fame with his single “Big Drip” in 2019 and has since landed collaborations with Drake, Pop Smoke, Kanye West, and other chart-topping hip-hop artists. He released an EP in 2019 and has put out a few singles and features on other artists’ albums, but fans will be excited to hear his first full-length.
