The Grammy nominees list for this year is officially out, and the votes are being cast on which artists will walk away with the most prestigious awards in music this year. Several people received multiple Grammy nominations this year, so read on below to see which artists earned the most.

Beyonce – 9 nominations

It comes as no surprise that Beyonce, who’s won more Grammy awards than any other artist in history, received more nominations than anyone else this year. Beyonce’s 2022 album Renaissance and tracks on it earned her nominations for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best R&B Performance, among others.

Kendrick Lamar – 8 nominations

Not many artists have as good of a track record as Kendrick Lamar for putting out show-stopping albums, and this year’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers certainly lived up to the expectations. The album was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album, and its final track, “The Heart Part 5,” was nominated for five awards, including Best Rap Performance and Record of the Year.

Adele – 7 nominations

Singer-songwriter Adele still holds the record for the most sales of a single album in the 21st century, so it’s become expected to see her name on the Grammy nominations list when she puts out an album. Adele’s fourth studio album, 30, will be in the running for the Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album this year, and her song “Easy on Me” was nominated for four awards.

Brandi Carlile – 7 nominations

American singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile will be heading to the Grammy awards again this year, hoping to add to her already impressive collection of six Grammy awards. Her album In These Silent Days is joining the runners for Album of the Year, and her songs “Broken Horses” and “You and Me on the Rock” both received several nominations.

Mary J. Blige – 6 nominations

R&B singer-songwriter Mary J. Blige was nominated for six Grammy awards this year for her album Good Morning Gorgeous as well as her hit song of the same title.

DJ Khaled – 6 nominations

Rapper and producer DJ Khaled was nominated for Grammy awards in the categories of Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, Best Melodic Performance and Song of the Year, as well as Album of the Year for his work on Mary J. Blige’s album.

Future – 6 nominations

American rapper Future had several features on hit songs this year, including DJ Khaled’s “Beautiful,” which got him a nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance. His album I Never Liked You also scored him a nomination for Best Rap Album.

Terius “The-Dream” Gesteelde-Diamant – 6 nominations

Singer-songwriter The Dream has won five Grammy awards over the course of his career and will be competing for six more this year, including an award for Non-Classical Songwriter of the Year.

Harry Styles – 6 nominations

Harry Styles had an extraordinarily successful year in 2022, from his hit album Harry’s House to his performance in the film Don’t Worry Darling. Styles is in the running for six potential Grammy awards this year, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year.
