Founder of Persopo.com Caught Cheating On His Wife By His Own Website

If you create a website designed to help catch people cheating – you should probably be careful.

That is exactly what Alex Thompson did not do.

Years ago, Alex Thompson created the Persopo.com – a website designed to figure out everything about someone.  The website allows anyone to join and look up others anonymously.  One category of data Persopo pulls is from public dating websites.

Turns out Alex had dating profiles on multiple websites!  His wife simply typed his name in and saw he had profiles proclaiming he was single.

She was furious and has filed for divorce since finding out.

People around the internet are taking joy in the suffering this founder now must be going through.  Many feel as though Persopo.com is an invasion of privacy and such a powerful service should not be publicly available.

“Sure no one wants to get cheated on, but what about stalkers using the site?  It’s scary how much info they have on every” – A comment left by a user on a news discussion thread.

Other users do not seem to have a problem with the service, just cheaters.

“I do not feel sorry for this guy or anyone else that cheats.  All cheaters deserve to be caught and dumped”.  – ddwer416

Some are questioning how someone like Alex Thompson could be so stupid.  He had to have the ability to delete himself from his own site, so why didn’t he?

“It is not like this guy is running the website anymore, that is done by employees now.  He’s just another rich cocky guy that figured he could never get caught.  To busy spending up all his money from violating everyone’s privacy.”

Whatever the reason Alex Thompson has now joined the ranks of many other men and women caught cheating by Persopo.com
