For over half a century now, the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has introduced the technologies of the not-so-distant future to eager reporters and industry folks. This year, all manner of new technologies wowed showgoers. These five products, in particular, have us especially excited!

Dell XPS 13

It’s rare for us to see PCs that hold a candle to Macs, but the Dell XPS 13—which is drawing excitement simply for moving its webcam to the top of the computer screen—excites us. It’s beautiful and sleek, with high resolution, plenty of RAM, and a whopping 2 TB of storage.

Samsung Wall

This Samsung TV is built to cover a full wall. It can be expanded or contracted to any size or screen resolution. Talk about versatility! This one will be offered for personal in-home installation at some point this year.

Impossible Burger 2.0

Digital Trends called the Impossible Burger 2.0 “the most impressive thing on display at CES 2019.” It’s a fully vegan burger that scientists have lab-grown from reconstituted plant matter, but you wouldn’t know that. It tastes like real meat, and we love it.

Kohler Numi 2.0 toilet

Has science gone too far? Kohler’s Numi 2.0 does have built-in Alexa, surround sound speakers, and seat heating technology, so maybe. Did we mention the ambient lighting you can flip on at the back of the toilet? We want this in our bathroom, now.

LG Signature OLED TV R9

We love TV, so obviously, we’re listing two TVs on here. This 65-inch TV contracts when it’s not in use, so the TV appears as though it’s just a fascinatingly shaped, rectangular decorative oddity when you’re not using it to catch up on Netflix. We can’t wait to hide this one in plain sight.

Whether you’re a TV junkie, a foodie, a laptop geek, or just someone who uses the bathroom, CES had something for everyone this year! We’re already excited for how these innovations will play out in the market.
