Trying to figure out what movie to watch with your significant other for Valentine’s Day? The countless options on Hulu might just have you covered, especially the new arrivals landing on the streaming service during February. If you’re more interested in a sappy TV binge-watching marathon with your partner, Hulu is dropping plenty of exciting series this month too. Here are the five best February 2020 Hulu arrivals.

1. When Harry Met Sally

Available now

When Harry Met Sally is widely regarded as one of the best romantic comedy movies of all time, not least for its classic “I’ll have what she’s having” line. The timing of Rob Reiner’s classic film arriving on Hulu on February 1 is absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day, as is the timeless tale of Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) crossing paths regularly over a 12-year period.

2. Hitch

Available now

Although Hitch isn’t nearly as iconic a romantic comedy film as When Harry Met Sally, it’s still worth a Valentine’s Day watch now that it’s available on Hulu. This February 2020 addition to Hulu’s offerings sees the titular character, played by Will Smith, attempting to teach men including lovable oaf Albert Brennaman (Kevin James) how to get women to date them. If this plotline sounds a bit outdated in light of the #MeToo movement, that’s because it is – and in a way, the movie acknowledges its inherently problematic premise throughout its second half.

3. Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 7

New episodes available Fridays at 5 a.m. ET

For fans of NBC’s many evening sitcoms, Hulu is a must-have among the streaming services. Only on Hulu can you watch the five most recent episodes of NBC sitcoms such as the goofy, wholesome, often romantic police procedural Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which returns for its seventh season on Thursday, February 6. Hulu will have the first episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s newest season available from 5 a.m. ET onward Friday, February 7, and subsequent episodes this season will also land on Hulu at 5 a.m. ET the Friday after they first air on NBC.

4. Into the Dark: My Valentine

Available now

If you’re looking for a scary Valentine’s Day experience, this one-episode special of Hulu’s Into the Dark anthology horror series should do the trick. My Valentine centers on a pop star, Valentine (Britt Baron), whose abusive ex-boyfriend and manager Royal (Benedict Samuel) has taken her hiatus from the spotlight into his own hands. Royal is now dating Trezzure (Anna Lore), whose music and aesthetic match Valentine’s exactly. So when Valentine, Trezzure, and Royal are locked in the same room late at night, the romantic horror doesn’t take long to get going.

5. High Fidelity: Season 1

Available February 14

In 2000, Nick Hornsby’s novel High Fidelity was adapted into a movie of the same name. Two decades later, Hulu has adapted the novel into an original TV series that flips the protagonist’s gender, in the process radically altering the show. Zoë Kravitz will star as Rob Brooks, a music lover who looks back on her many failed romances to determine her repeated mistakes. Brooks owns a record store in Brooklyn, so as the series’ title suggests, music will be a strong, recurring theme throughout the show’s run.
