Now in its 46th season, beloved late-night sketch show Saturday Night Live recently returned from its winter hiatus with five consecutive episodes before taking a break. Last month, the show announced the first slate of hosts and musical guests set to appear after this break. Learn all about these hosts and musical guests below.

March 27, 2021

Host: Maya Rudolph

Musical guest: Jack Harlow

Maya Rudolph, who starred on SNL from 2000 to 2007, will host the show on March 27. For the past two years, Rudolph has appeared on the show as former senator and current vice president Kamala Harris. For her portrayal of Harris, Rudolph took home the 2020 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. Most recently, it was announced that Rudolph will have a starring role in a new Apple TV+ comedy series written by the writers of Parks and Recreation.

That same night, Jack Harlow will make his SNL musical guest debut. Harlow has been quite active in recent months, performing on Shaquille O’Neal’s pre-game SHAQ Bowl livestream, the get-out-the-vote “Celebrate Georgia!” concert, the big recent New Year’s Eve event, and the MTV Europe Music Awards. He released his major-label debut, That’s What They All Say, on December 11.

April 3, 2021

Host: Daniel Kaluuya

Musical guest: St. Vincent

Daniel Kaluuya, best known for his roles in Get Out and Black Panther, will make his SNL hosting debut on April 3. Kaluuya recently won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for his work in the recent movie Judas and the Black Messiah. Kaluuya is also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award and an Oscar for the same role. Some are predicting that Kaluuya might be one of the major winners on Oscar night on April 25.

On the April 3 episode of SNL, Grammy-winning musician Annie Clark, known as St. Vincent, will be the musical guest for her second time (and first time since 2014). She will be promoting her sixth album, Daddy’s Home, which will be released on May 14. She recently released the album’s lead single, “Pay Your Way In Pain.” Clark has teased her new release for some time now and has said it’s a “tectonic shift” from her art-rock sound.

April 10, 2021

Host: Carey Mulligan

Musical guest: Kid Cudi

British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) Award-winning actor Carey Mulligan will make her SNL hosting debut on April 10. Her role in the 2020 movie Promising Young Woman recently got her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. The movie is also nominated for Best Picture. Some are predicting that Mulligan, like Kaluuya, could be another major Oscar winner in late April.

For the April 10 episode, Grammy-winning artist Kid Cudi is set to perform. Cudi is expected to perform songs from his latest album, the 18-track collection Man on the Moon III: The Chosen, which he released on December 11. Kid Cudi previously performed on SNL with Kanye West in 2018. He also featured in a pre-recorded sketch with West and SNL cast member Kyle Mooney.
