Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing

Aired December 5

Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing is the fourth movie in the Christmas in Evergreen series, and Hallmark Channel viewers have been highly anticipating its arrival. Rukiya Bernard and Antonio Cayonne will be starring in the roles they have long held in the series. Holly Robinson Peete, Barbara Niven, Colin Lawrence, and Ashley Williams will also star.

In Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing, a mayor named Michelle (Peete) and her fiancé Thomas (Lawrence) are preparing for their wedding. Unfortunately, Thomas is out of town for work, and he can only plan the wedding long-distance, and Michelle has a hard time planning the wedding with limited help from her fiancé. That’s why Michelle hires her sister-in-law-to-be, Hannah (Bernard) to take over Michelle’s responsibilities at Evergreen’s soon-to-open Christmas Museum, but Hannah’s work at the museum doesn’t go quite as planned.

Danica McKellar, known for her role in the classic 80’s show The Wonder Years and several Hallmark movies, stars as the main lead character in Christmas She Wrote. Dylan Shaw – known for his roles in The Bold and the Beautiful, Dawson’s Creek, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, not to mention plenty of Hallmark Channel roles – plays the lead role opposite McKellar.

Christmas She Wrote is about Kayleigh (McKellar), a writer whose column is canceled before Christmas. After taking a blow to her career, she decides to go home for the holidays to reconnect with her family. Tripp (Shaw), her employer who canceled her column, makes an unexpected visit and tries to extend an olive branch.

Love, Lights, Hanukkah!

For an alternative to Christmas, try the heart-warming Hanukkah story Love, Lights, Hanukkah!, which stars Mia Kirshner, Ben Savage, and Marilu Henner. Love, Lights, Hanukkah! tells the story of Christina (Kirshner), a restaurant owner preparing for Christmas. She decides to take a DNA test and it finds out that she’s Jewish, not Christian. After she finds out her results, she learns more about her family and sparks an unlikely romance during the eight days of Hanukkah.
