Bruce Springsteen has been forced to postpone all of his concerts scheduled for September of this year because the 73-year-old musician is being treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease. This has sparked concerns among his fans about his health, and many fans have taken to social media to show their concern and wish Springsteen a speedy recovery.
Peptic ulcer disease is a medical condition that causes open sores in the stomach or small intestine. The disease can cause abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, and vomiting. Peptic ulcers are fairly common and are found in as much as 4% of the population.
Where is Bruce Springsteen touring? Is he back on tour now?
Springsteen has been on tour with the E Street Band since February of this year. The group performed across the United States and Europe through the earlier months of the year before returning back to the U.S. for the fall.

Their next planned concert is in Vancouver, British Columbia on November 3. In other news, Springsteen recently appeared in a video supporting the Lwala Community Hospital Endowment, which would support healthcare in the rural Western Kenya community of Lwala for generations to come. The hospital was founded by brothers Milton and Fred Ochieng, who grew up in the village of Lwala and were able to go to Dartmouth College and Vanderbilt Medical School after villagers held a fundraiser for them.
The Lwala Community Hospital now serves thousands of patients every year and has been recognized globally by ABC World News, among others. In the video, Springsteen said that he hopes people will join him in being part of a legacy that will outlive us all.
