Helix Tattoos Are Now A Thing Whether You Like It Or Not

Wearing an earring or a helix cuff are some of the minimalistic ways to make your ears look trendy. However, if that isn’t your thing and you want something raw then you could go for ear piercings. It is surprising that by the late 2016 fashionistas decided they didn’t want to stop there which lead to a new splurging trend we now know as Helix Tattoos.

This is something that has taken the social media stylists by storm and now everybody wants one. Helix Tattoos are basically made on the outer half of the ear which gives you the luxury of permanently styling your ears. For people with ‘tattoos define me’ belief this opened up a new way to stand apart from the rest.

The helix tattoos are so minimalistic that even someone skeptical about getting a tattoo would want one in an instant. People have been adorning them with little flowers, petals, stars, and even dog paws. Since the trend hasn’t gone mainstream yet, this makes up for a great time to stay ahead of the crowd.

However, from what we hear, there still might be a reason not to get one. Apparently, the Helix Tattoos are too painful to make since the outer half of the ear is a pretty sensitive area. It is ironic that getting such a minimalistic tattoo takes more courage than getting a huge one on your arms.

People over at Instagram have already started experimenting with Helix Tattoos thus giving you great ideas for your next one. We did some research and found some pretty interesting designs that will make you look that extra special.

Here are Some Helix Tattoos ideas that we absolutely love:

  • Most popular of them all, flower petals have been ruling this trend since its inception. There are a number of variations for this design which looks equally good in black by the way.
  • Pet lovers have often been tattooing their dog or cat paws on their arms and wrists. However, with Helix Tattoos that trend seems to have found its place in the ear as well.
  • Nothing says ‘rebel’ like this one though. If you fancy something like this, go all guns out with heavy accessory to fully adorn it.
  • Something resonating with your other tattoos? This one seems to take things forward from where the neck tattoo left off.

I have 5 tattoos and the worst one was on my foot, but I took it like a champ. I’m curious if this hurts or not? Love this idea so might be my next one. Curious on the cost as well?

I absolutely love the flower in the ear. Is a butterfly popular, or can they even do it. The butterfly need lots of detail.
How much to the helix tats cost?

My brother sent me this saying that it would suit me. He is definitely wrong! I would never do this!
