Remote vacations are a dream to many, but for many individuals who love to travel, they can be tight on cash to make that possible. Thankfully, that’s not the case any longer. Hotels.com is currently running a promotion to solve those issues for you by offering a free stay at a remote hotel in Greenland. This offer is extended to every traveler that books there for any duration for March 2019.

Seriously. We’re not pulling your leg.

The hotel is located in Ittoqqortoormiit (IT-TOQ-TOOR-MIT) in Greenland, a town with roughly 450 people. The town is so far out there that the hotel you’d be staying, the Ittoqqortoormiit Guesthouse, only has seven rooms available. On top of that, the closest town is about 500 miles away with no busses, cars or trains available to get there. The only mode of transportation to get there is by dog sled. So, you’ll be there for a while.

If this sounds like an amazing thing for you, all you need to do is book a room for March 2019. The only catch is this promotion only lasts until December 31, and you’ll also need to pay one percent of the room rate (this will only run you a few dollars).

If you’re set for an arctic adventure then this is a great chance to get it. On top of that, there is a lot that you can do around the area. Despite the hotel being t in the middle of nowhere, it’s a pretty significant spot. First of all the town is pretty close to the Northeast Greenland National Park. For those not familiar with the name, this is the world’s largest national park! Plus, there is also the longest fjord system in the world too. Your other activities could  consist of hiking, snowshoeing, dog sledding, fishing in the Arctic Ocean, boating, and even hopping into hot springs and seeing Northern Lights. For a small remote place, there’s a lot you can do.

Of course, there are a few other complications with this promotion. As mentioned you’ll need to book for March 2019 and do that before December 31. You’ll also need to use the promo code “REMOTE” in order to get this deal. And while all of that sounds easy, there are obviously more people who are aware of this deal and again there are only seven rooms. So, if you are serious about this, book it immediately, pay the one percent room rate (with maybe some taxes in there), and get ready for the arctic adventure you always wanted!
