Regina Gold, 23, of Asheport, OR noticed strange behavior from her new next-door neighbors. Different cars pulling in the drive and lots of people coming and going all hours of the day.

The new mom whose husband travels for work began to worry when she began to hear noise late at night. The police were called, but they found nothing. Regina became worried when the new neighbors, two men who looked between 50-60 years old, started to stare at her every time she loaded her infant seat into the back of her car.

After alerting the police, the SWAT team pulled up and arrested 7 men and women–finding hundreds of thousands of dollars in counterfeit money, as well as stolen electronics.

When Regina asked how she was able to track down this information using an online tool anyone with a credit card can access in minutes, yet the police had not come and gone a few times, the city explained the man’s name was not on any documents tying him to this property.

“We see cases like this a lot–people who act strangely may open up enough to people they see regularly to share a name, but that doesn’t mean they’re to be trusted.” Given Regina spends a significant amount of time alone with her 11-month old, she was concerned the men next door would learn she searched for more information about them.
