1. Classic grilled cheese sandwich

Here’s a classic grilled cheese sandwich recipe that makes two servings. Gather two slices of sourdough bread and spread one tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice. Melt one tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the buttered side of the slices down in the skillet and top each slice with half a cup of shredded cheddar cheese. 

Cook until the buttered side is golden and the cheese is melting on top. Flip one slice on top of the other slice and cook the sandwich for a few more seconds until the cheese is melty.
